The Parker '51' Jewels can become scratched and marked over time. In some cases Chipped.
These are all Reproduction Parker '51' Jewels and as such may show signs of storage and ware, some cleaning and polishing may be required.
The Jewel has been fitted into the Brass Bushing only finger tight so that they can be unscrew.
When fitting the Jewel a very small dab of silicone grease on the threads will help
if the Jewel is a tight fit.
Over time variations in the colour and surface of the Jewel will have taken place.
